Job summary

CSL Vifor is seeking a donor center technician to prepare autopheresis machines for pheresis procedures and monitor donors throughout the process. You will document events with a PDA, link equipment to donors, and maintain accurate donor records in the SOP system.

The role emphasizes safety, confidentiality, and adherence to HSE/OSHA policies. Responsibilities include responding to alarms, assisting with cross-training when needed, and communicating donor flow issues to supervisors.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of three (3) months’ work experience in a medical/health provider environment preferred.
• Able to perform basic math calculations.

Responsibilities

• Prepares the autopheresis machine for the pheresis process.
• Monitors the donor and pheresis process; responds to alarms or signals.
• Disconnects the donor when the process is complete.
• Maintains donor safety; notifies staff of any donor reactions.
• Records incidents and donor data using the PDA and links equipment to donors.
• Reports donor flow issues to Group Leader or Supervisor.
• Ensures accurate recording of donor data in the electronic system.
