Job summary

CSL Plasma is seeking a phlebotomist to collect plasma via pheresis and venipuncture in a donor-centric clinic environment. You will follow SOPs and FDA guidelines to ensure donor safety and process efficiency, with electronic recordkeeping and adherence to safety protocols.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and 6 months of phlebotomy experience, or 12 months in a medical setting plus possibly training for internal CSL programs.

Qualifications

• Phlebotomy experience or relevant training is required.
• Experience in a health care environment is preferred.
• Ability to follow SOPs and safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Perform pheresis procedures and plasma collection per SOPs.
• Perform venipuncture to start pheresis per FDA guidelines.
• Evaluate donor vein performance and address issues.
• Maintain donor safety and a positive donation experience.
• Record donor data in the electronic management system per SOPs.
• Maintain clean work area and follow HSE/OSHA policies.
• May be cross-trained in other areas as needed.
