Job summary

CSL Plasma is seeking a phlebotomist to perform pheresis and plasma collection with strict adherence to SOPs and FDA guidelines. You will set up donors, monitor the procedure and disconnect donors after collection, while ensuring safety and quality throughout the process.

The ideal candidate has at least 6 months of phlebotomy experience in a medical setting and will maintain accurate donor records, assist with donor education, and support a clean, compliant work environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• External candidates must have a minimum of 6 months' experience as a phlebotomist; one year preferred.
• Minimum twelve (12) months of experience in a medical or health care environment.

Responsibilities

• In compliance with SOPs and FDA guidelines, performs venipuncture on donors to begin pheresis process.
• Performs all aspects of the pheresis procedure including donor setup, monitoring and disconnect.
• Evaluates vein performance and makes corrections to expedite donation time and ensure donor safety.
• Monitors donor flow, records incidents, and maintains accurate data in the donor information system.
• Maintains a clean, safe work environment and adheres to HSE/OSHA policies.
