Job summary

CSL Vifor is seeking a phlebotomy/pheresis support technician to prepare donors, equipment, and the pheresis machine. You will monitor the donor and process, respond to alarms, and disconnect the donor upon completion.

The role requires at least a high school diploma and 3 months of medical/health experience, with PDA data entry and strict data confidentiality. On-site work with safety policies emphasized.

Qualifications

• Must have at least a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of three months’ work experience in a medical/health setting preferred.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare donor, donor area and equipment for the pheresis process.
• Prepare autopheresis machine for the pheresis process.
• Monitor donor and pheresis process and respond to alarms or signals.
• Disconnect donor when the process is complete.
• Record incidents using PDA and link equipment to donor in system.
• Alert supervisor to donor flow issues and maintain data accuracy in the system.
• Follow HSE/OSHA policies and maintain confidentiality.
• May be cross-trained in other areas as needed.
