Job summary

CSL Vifor is seeking a Pheresis Technician to support donor pheresis procedures in a clinical setting. You will prepare donor areas and equipment, monitor the process, respond to alarms, and ensure donor safety and data accuracy.

The role requires attention to donor well-being, adherence to SOPs, and collaboration with healthcare staff to maintain an efficient and safe pheresis workflow.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of three (3) months’ work experience, preferably in medical or health provider environment or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must be able to perform basic math calculations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the donor, donor area and equipment for the pheresis process.
• Prepare the autopheresis machine for the pheresis process.
• Monitor the donor and pheresis process and respond to alarms or signals.
• Disconnect the donor when the process is complete.
• Maintain awareness of donor reactions and notify staff as needed.
