Job summary

CSL is seeking a Pheresis Process Technician to prepare the autopheresis machines, monitor donors during pheresis, and complete post-process routines. The role requires attention to donor safety, accurate data entry using the PDA and donor information system, and strict adherence to SOPs and safety policies.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent and at least three months in a medical setting. Cross-training and occasional overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of three (3) months' work experience in a medical/health provider environment or equivalent.
• Will perform basic math calculations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the autopheresis machine for the pheresis process.
• Monitor the donor and the pheresis process and respond to alarms or signals.
• Disconnect the donor when the process is complete.
• Maintain alertness for donor reactions during or after pheresis and notify staff.
• Use PDA to record incidents, alarms, and donor events.
• Link equipment and materials to the appropriate donor in the system.
• Alert Group Leader or Supervisor of donor flow issues.
• Ensure accurate donor data in the electronic donor information management system.
• Follow SOPs and health, safety, environmental, and OSHA policies.
