Job summary

CSL in Michigan seeks a Donor Center Technician to support pheresis procedures. You will prepare the donor, the donor area and equipment, and ready the autopheresis device for operations, ensuring smooth start to each collection.

You will monitor the process, respond to alarms, record events in the PDA, maintain donor data integrity, and uphold HSE/OSHA policies. A high school diploma and basic math skills are required; prior healthcare exposure is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of three (3) months’ work experience, preferably in medical or health provider environment or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Must be able to perform basic math calculations

Responsibilities

• Prepare donor, donor area and equipment for the pheresis process.
• Prepare the autopheresis machine for the pheresis process.
• Monitor the donor and the pheresis process; respond to alarms.
• Disconnect the donor when the process is complete.
• Record incidents and donor data in the electronic donor information management system.
• Maintain clean, safe work environment and follow HSE/OSHA policies.
