Job summary

CSL Plasma is seeking a technician to prepare the donor, donor area, and pheresis equipment for the process. You will monitor the donor and system, responding to alarms and disconnecting the donor when complete. Use a PDA to record incidents, link equipment to donors, and ensure accurate donor data per SOPs.

Must follow safety policies and maintain confidentiality. Minimum three months of relevant experience preferred; high school diploma required; bilingual skills may be needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum of three months’ work experience in a medical or health provider environment is preferred.
• Ability to operate a PDA and document donor data accurately.
• Must follow OSHA/HSE policies and demonstrate safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Prepare donor, donor area and pheresis equipment for the process.
• Monitor the donor and pheresis process and respond to alarms or signals.
• Disconnect donor when process completes and maintain safety.
• Record incidents and donor data using PDA and link equipment to the donor.
• Notify supervisor of donor flow issues and ensure supplies are available.
• Maintain confidentiality of donor and center information; follow SOPs.
