Job summary

CSL Plasma in Rapid City is seeking a pheresis technician to prepare donors, equipment, and areas for the pheresis process. You will monitor the donor and machine, respond to alarms, and disconnect the donor when the procedure ends.

You will use the PDA to document incidents and link equipment to donors, maintaining accurate donor data and reporting issues to a supervisor. A clean, safe work environment and potential bilingual duties are expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 3 months work experience, preferably in medical field.
• Must be able to perform basic math calculations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the donor, donor area and equipment for the pheresis process.
• Prepare the autopheresis machine for the pheresis process.
• Monitor the donor and the pheresis process and respond to alarms.
• Disconnect the donor when the process is complete.
• Record incidents and donor data using the PDA and link equipment to donors.
• Notify supervisor of donor flow issues and maintain accurate records.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and follow HSE/OSHA policies.
• May be cross-trained in other areas and may require bilingual skills.
