Job summary

CSL Plasma in Huntsville, AL is seeking a donor center technician to prepare the donor, donor area and pheresis equipment for the process. You will monitor the donor and respond to alarms, ensuring safety and data accuracy.

The role requires attention to detail, ability to follow SOPs, maintain a clean work environment and effectively use the PDA to record incidents and link equipment to donors. Some cross-training may occur.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• At least 3 months of work experience in a medical or health provider environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the autopheresis machine and donor area for the pheresis process.
• Monitor the donor and pheresis process; respond to alarms or signals.
• Disconnect the donor when the process is complete and maintain safety.
• Record incidents and link equipment to the donor using the PDA.
• Ensure accurate donor data entry in the electronic donor information system.
