Job summary

CSL Plasma is seeking a donor center technician to prepare donor and pheresis equipment, monitor the process, and respond to alarms. You will document incidents using a PDA and ensure accurate donor data entry while upholding safety and confidentiality.

Role involves assisting with donor flow, following SOPs/OSHA policies, and potential cross-training in other areas to meet center needs. Strong interpersonal skills and basic math are beneficial for this fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of three (3) months' work experience, preferably in medical or health provider environment or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• English/Spanish bilingual communication skills are highly preferred.
• Previous experience in a medical, healthcare, customer service, or donor-facing environment is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact professionally and compassionately with donors.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the autopheresis machine for the pheresis process and monitor the donor and process.
• Respond to alarms or signals during the process and disconnect the donor when complete.
• Use PDA to record incidents, link equipment and donor records, and ensure accurate donor data entry.
• Notify Group Leader or Supervisor of donor flow issues and maintain a clean, safe work environment.
• Follow SOPs and OSHA/HSE policies, maintain confidentiality, and may be cross-trained in other areas.
