Job summary

CSL Plasma is seeking a donor center technician to prepare the autopheresis machine and monitor donors during pheresis procedures. You will respond to alarms, disconnect donors after procedures, and document incidents using a PDA while linking equipment to donors in the donor information system.

The role requires attention to safety, following SOPs, and maintaining the work area. Some overtime may be needed to meet center needs and ensure accurate donor data records.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of three months' work experience, preferably in medical or health provider environment.
• Will perform basic math calculations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare autopheresis machine for the pheresis process.
• Monitor donor and pheresis process, respond to alarms or signals.
• Disconnect the donor when the process is complete.
• Record incidents using PDA, link equipment/soft goods to donor.
• Notify supervisor of donor flow issues and maintain donor data in the system.
• Follow SOPs, maintain a clean, safe work environment and PPE use.
• Overtime may be required to support center operations.
