Job summary

CSL Plasma in Bloomington, Minnesota is hiring for a full-time donor pheresis technician. You will prepare the donor, donor area and equipment for the pheresis process, set up the autopheresis machine, monitor the procedure and disconnect the donor when complete.

You will use a PDA to log incidents, link equipment to donors, and ensure accurate donor data in the electronic system while following safety and health guidelines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of three (3) months' work experience in medical or health provider environments.
• Must be able to perform basic math calculations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the donor, donor area and equipment for the pheresis process.
• Prepare the autopheresis machine for the pheresis process.
• Monitor the donor and the pheresis process and respond to alarms.
• Disconnect the donor when the process is complete.
• Record incidents using the PDA and link equipment to donors.
