Job summary

CSL Vifor is hiring a Pheresis Technician to support donor care at our Akron center. You will prepare the donor area and equipment, monitor the pheresis process, and respond to alarms to ensure a safe, efficient procedure.

We seek individuals with a high school diploma and at least three months of health provider experience or equivalent. Strong basic math and attention to safety are essential, with cross-training possible.

Qualifications

• Must have basic math abilities and comfort with health care settings.
• Experience in medical or health provider environment preferred.
• Follows SOPs and maintains confidentiality of donor data.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the donor, donor area and equipment for thepheresis process.
• Prepare the autopheresis machine for thepheresis process.
• Monitor the donor and thepheresis process, respond to alarms or signals.
• Disconnect the donor when the process is complete.
• Maintain awareness of donor reactions and notify staff as needed.
• Record incidents and equipment connections using the PDA.
