Job summary

CSL is seeking an entry-level donor pheresis support role in a fast-paced center. You will prepare the pheresis equipment, monitor donors, and respond to alarms during the process, ensuring safe, compliant operations.

You will document incidents on a PDA, maintain donor data in the system, and help keep supplies ready. The position may involve cross-training and potential bilingual responsibilities depending on center needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum of three months’ work experience in a medical or health-provider environment or equivalent.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations.
• Ability to monitor donor and pheresis process and respond to alarms or signals.
• Maintain confidentiality of donor and center information.

Responsibilities

• Prepares autopheresis machine for pheresis process.
• Monitors donor and pheresis process and responds to alarms or signals.
• Disconnects donor when process is complete.
• Maintains alertness to donor reactions and notifies staff as needed.
• Records incidents on PDA, links equipment to donor, and records donor data in the EDIS.
• Alerts supervisor of donor flow issues and maintains supply levels.
• Follows SOPs and OSHA/HSE policies and maintains a clean work environment.
• May be cross-trained in other areas; bilingual skills may be required.
