Job summary

CSL is seeking a donor center technician to support pheresis operations and donor care. You will prepare the autopheresis equipment, monitor donors, respond to alarms, and disconnect donors after the procedure. Maintain safety and data accuracy in the donor information system.

The role emphasizes adherence to SOPs, confidentiality, and vigilance for donor reactions. A high school diploma and at least three months in healthcare are required; bilingual ability may be requested.

Qualifications

• Basic math calculations required.
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
• Willing to work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Prepares the autopheresis machine for the pheresis process.
• Monitors the donor and pheresis process; responds to alarms.
• Disconnects the donor when the process is complete.
• Maintains alertness to donor reactions and notifies appropriate staff.
• Uses PDA to record incidents, alarms, and donor events.
• Links equipment/soft goods to donors in the information system.
• Alerts Group Leader or Supervisor of donor flow issues.
• Ensures accurate donor data per SOPs.
• Follows HSE/OSHA policies and promotes safety.
• May be cross-trained; bilingual skills may be required.
