Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of three months' work experience in medical or health provider environment or equivalent experience.
• Must be able to perform basic math calculations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the donor, donor area, and equipment for the pheresis process.
• Prepare the autopheresis machine for the pheresis process.
• Monitor the donor and pheresis process and respond to alarms or signals.
• Disconnect the donor when the process is complete.
• Maintain alertness to donor reactions during or after pheresis and notify staff as needed.
• Record incidents, alarms, and donor data in the PDA and donor information system.
