Job summary

CSL in Augusta, GA is seeking a Donor Services Technician to assist in pheresis procedures. You will prepare the donor, the donor area, and equipment for the pheresis process and prime the autopheresis machine.

You will monitor the donor and the pheresis process, respond to alarms, disconnect the donor when finished, and record incidents and donor data using the PDA and the electronic donor information management system. The role requires adherence to HSE/OSHA policies and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of three (3) months’ work experience, preferably in medical or health provider environment or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must be able to perform basic math calculations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the donor, donor area and equipment for the pheresis process.
• Monitor the donor and the pheresis process, respond to alarms or signals that may occur during the process.
• Disconnect the donor when the process is complete.
• Maintain accurate recording of donor data in the electronic donor information management system as outlined in SOPs.
