Job summary

CSL Vifor is seeking a donor center technician to prepare autopheresis machines, monitor donors, and ensure safe, compliant operations in a Florida center.

You will record incidents in the PDA and the electronic donor information system, respond to alarms, maintain supplies, and uphold HSE/OSHA policies while protecting donor confidentiality. Some cross-training and bilingual skills may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of three (3) months’ work experience in a medical/health provider environment.
• Basic math calculations.

Responsibilities

• Prepares the autopheresis machine for the pheresis process.
• Monitor the donor and the pheresis process; respond to alarms or signals.
• Disconnect the donor when the process is complete.
• Maintain awareness of donor reactions and notify staff as needed.
• Use PDA to record incidents during pheresis (alarms, events).
• Link equipment and soft goods to the appropriate donor in PDA.
• Alert Group Leader or Supervisor of donor flow issues.
• Record donor data in the electronic donor information management system.
• Follow HSE and OSHA policies; promote safety.
• Maintain confidentiality of donor and center information.
• May be cross-trained in other areas. Bilingual skills may be required.
