Job summary

CSL Vifor Dover seeks a Donor Center Technician to prepare autopheresis machines and the donor area for pheresis procedures. You will report to the Assistant Center Manager and work on maintaining equipment and supplies in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Responsibilities include monitoring donors, responding to alarms, recording incidents in the PDA, ensuring accurate donor data per SOPs, and maintaining safety and confidentiality while supporting center operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of three (3) months’ work experience, preferably in medical or health provider environment.
• Will perform basic math calculations and record incidents accurately.

Responsibilities

• Prepares the autopheresis machine for the pheresis process.
• Monitor the donor and the pheresis process, responds to alarms or signals.
• Disconnect the donor when the process is complete.
• Maintain alertness and awareness to donor reactions, and notify appropriate staff.
• Use PDA to record incidents during the pheresis process and link equipment to the donor.
• Alerts Group Leader or Supervisor of donor flow issues.
• Ensure accurate recording of donor data in the electronic donor information management system per SOPs.
• Maintain clean, efficient work environment and ensure supplies are available; follow HSE/OSHA policies.
• Maintain confidentiality of all personnel, donor and center information.
