Job summary

CSL Plasma in Mount Clemens, MI, is seeking a Pheresis Technician to prepare donors, the donor area, and equipment for pheresis, and to ready the autopheresis machine for the procedure.

You will monitor donors and the pheresis process, respond to alarms, and record incidents using the PDA. You will also link equipment to donors and ensure accurate data entry in the donor information system, while following SOPs and safety policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of three months' work experience in medical/health provider environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare donor, donor area and equipment for pheresis.
• Prepare autopheresis machine for pheresis.
• Monitor donor and pheresis process; respond to alarms.
• Disconnect donor when process ends.
• Maintain alertness to donor reactions; notify staff as needed.
• Record incidents and equipment linkage using PDA.
• Link equipment and supplies to donor in system.
• Notify supervisor of donor flow issues.
• Ensure accurate donor data entry in donor information system.
• Comply with HSE and OSHA policies and maintain safety.
