Pheresis Donor Care Technician

Zusammenfassung

CSL is seeking an operator to prepare the donor, donor area and equipment for pheresis processes at our Johnston center. You will report to the Assistant Center Manager and ensure proper setup and monitoring of the pheresis machine, donor, and related equipment.

The role requires basic math, good observation, and the ability to manage alarms, document incidents using a PDA, and maintain a clean, compliant work environment in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of three (3) months' work experience, preferably in medical or health provider environment or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Aufgaben

• Prepares the autopheresis machine for the pheresis process.
• Monitor the donor and the pheresis process, respond to alarms or signals during the process.
• Disconnect the donor when the process is complete.
• Maintain alertness to any donor reaction during or after the pheresis process and notify staff.
