Job summary

CSL Plasma is seeking a donor processing associate to prepare the donor, area and equipment for pheresis. You will monitor the procedure, respond to alarms, and disconnect the donor when complete, while maintaining safety and data integrity.

You will document incidents using the PDA, link equipment to the donor, and notify supervisors of flow issues. The role requires basic math, attention to safety, and willingness to work overtime to meet center needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of three (3) months' work experience, preferably in medical or health provider environment.
• Basic math calculations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the autopheresis machine for the pheresis process.
• Monitor the donor and pheresis process and respond to alarms or signals.
• Disconnect the donor when the process is complete.
• Record incidents and link equipment to donors using the PDA.
• Notify supervisor of donor flow issues.
• Ensure accurate donor data in the electronic donor information management system.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and ensure supplies are available.
• May be cross-trained in other areas as needed.
• Follow HSE/OSHA policies and wear PPE as required.
