Job summary

CSL Vifor is seeking a donor services technician to support pheresis procedures. You will prepare donors, donor areas, and equipment, and monitor the pheresis process, ensuring safety and protocol adherence.

The role involves recording incidents in the PDA, linking equipment to donors, and maintaining accurate donor data in the electronic system per SOPs. Some positions may require bilingual skills and cross-training may occur.

Qualifications

• Must be able to perform basic math calculations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare donor, donor area and equipment for the pheresis process.
• Prepare autopheresis machine for pheresis.
• Monitor donor and pheresis process; respond to alarms or signals that may occur during the process.
• Disconnect donor when the process is complete.
• Maintain alertness to donor reactions and notify staff as needed.
• Record incidents in the PDA during the pheresis process and link equipment to donors.
• Link equipment and soft goods used in the pheresis process to the appropriate donor in the system.
• Alert supervisor of donor flow issues.
• Ensure accurate recording of donor data in the electronic donor information management system per SOPs.
• Follow policies for hyper immune programs where applicable.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and ensure supplies are available; follow HSE/OSHA policies.
• Maintain confidentiality of personnel, donor, and center information.
• May be cross-trained in other areas to meet business needs.
• Bilingual skills may be required to meet business needs.
• Perform job-related duties as assigned.
