Job summary

CSL Vifor Greenville, SC is seeking a dedicated teammate to support pheresis operations. You will prepare the donor area and autopheresis equipment, ensuring readiness for the pheresis process and donor comfort.

You will monitor the donor and process, respond to alarms, disconnect the donor when complete, and document incidents using a PDA. You must maintain accurate donor data in the system, follow SOPs, and uphold safety and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of three (3) months’ work experience, preferably in medical or health provider environment or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Will perform basic math calculations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the autopheresis machine for the pheresis process.
• Monitor the donor and pheresis process, respond to alarms or signals during the process.
• Disconnect the donor when the process is complete.
• Maintain alertness to donor reactions and notify appropriate staff.
• Use PDA to record incidents and link equipment/consumables to donors.
• Alert Group Leader or Supervisor of donor flow issues.
• Record donor data accurately in the electronic donor information system.
• Follow SOPs and health/safety policies; maintain confidentiality.
• May be cross-trained in other areas; bilingual skills may be required.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
