Job summary

CSL Vifor is seeking an entry-level Pheresis Processor support role. You will prepare the donor area and equipment, monitor the pheresis process, and respond to alarms while maintaining donor safety. You will document events with a PDA and ensure data integrity in the donor management system.

Requires a high school diploma and at least 3 months of relevant experience; some roles may require bilingual skills and cross-training in other areas to meet center needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of three (3) months’ work experience in medical/health provider environment preferred.
• Able to perform basic math calculations.

Responsibilities

• Prepares the autopheresis machine for the pheresis process.
• Monitors the donor and pheresis process and responds to alarms or signals during the process.
• Disconnects the donor when the process is complete.
• Maintains alertness to donor reactions during or after pheresis and notifies staff.
• Uses PDA to record incidents, link equipment and donor data, and track alarms and events.
• Alerts Group Leader or Supervisor about donor flow issues.
• Ensures accurate recording of donor data in the electronic system per SOPs.
• Follows HSE and OSHA policies and promotes safety in all actions.
• May be cross-trained in other areas as needed.
