Job summary

CSL is seeking a Pheresis Technician to support donor pheresis procedures at our Springfield center. You will prepare the donor, donor area, and equipment, and ensure the autopheresis machine is ready for the procedure.

You will monitor the donor during the procedure, respond to alarms, and disconnect the donor upon completion. Proficiency with PDA data entry and equipment linkage is required, with attention to safety and SOP adherence.

Qualifications

• Basic math skills required.
• Experience in medical or health provider environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the donor, donor area and equipment for the pheresis process.
• Prepare the autopheresis machine for the pheresis process.
• Monitor the donor and the pheresis process and respond to alarms or signals.
• Disconnect the donor when the process is complete.
• Record incidents and donor data using the PDA and link equipment to the donor.
