Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Eligible to obtain registration as pharmacy technician with the applicable state board of pharmacy.
• Experience: 0 to 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients with compassion and a smile at all pharmacy entry points.
• Process orders in person and by phone, and refer questions to the pharmacist when needed.
• Maintain a neat and clean work environment to meet company and government requirements.
• Assist team members to ensure the department runs efficiently.
• Use the pharmacy computer to complete actions for drop-off, will call, drive thru and order receiving.
• Transcribe data from prescriptions to generate customer labels.
• Assist with maintaining proper inventory by ordering, receiving, stocking and rotating drugs and supplies.
