Qualifications

• 0–6 months experience in a similar role.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Eligible to obtain pharmacy technician registration with state board

Responsibilities

• Greet patients with compassion at all pharmacy entry points.
• Assist pharmacists by processing prescriptions and coordinating orders.
• Maintain a neat, compliant work environment.
• Support team to ensure efficient department operations.
• Use the pharmacy computer to perform actions for accurate label creation, inventory and billing.
• Assist with company initiatives and programs.
• Complete required training and exams.
• Follow HIPAA, Pseudoephedrine laws and other regulatory policies.
• Handle cash register transactions per procedures.
• Transcribe data from prescriptions to generate patient labels.
• Maintain inventory by ordering, receiving and stocking supplies.
• Answer calls and resolve customer questions effectively.
• File written prescriptions daily.
