You’ll bring your customer service mindset to help build a service-conscious Pharmacy that delivers safe, accurate and efficient care, strengthening patient relationships and team outcomes. As a trainee, you’ll learn to process prescriptions, assist at the counter and support the pharmacist while complying with all policies, HIPAA rules, and state licensing requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience: 0 to 6 months.
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Certification: Eligible to obtain registration as pharmacy technician with state board of pharmacy.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients with compassion at all pharmacy entry points.
• Assist in processing orders in person and by phone.
• Maintain a neat and clean work environment complying with requirements.
• Assist team members to ensure the department runs efficiently.
• Use the pharmacy computer to complete actions for drop-off, will call, drive-thru, and more.
• Follow HIPAA, Pseudoephedrine sales, and state regulations.
• Transcribe data from prescriptions to generate customer labels.
• Maintain inventory by ordering, receiving, stocking and rotating drugs.
