Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: 0 to 6 months in pharmacy or related field.
• Certification: Eligible to obtain state pharmacy technician registration.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients with compassion and help them at all pharmacy entry points.
• Assist with in-person and phone orders, and refer questions to the pharmacist.
• Maintain a clean workspace and comply with policies and regulations.
• Support team to ensure efficient department operations.
• Use the pharmacy computer / POS to process transactions and manage prescriptions.
• Assist with inventory, labeling, and patient communication as needed.
• Complete required training and exams as part of the program.
• Follow HIPAA and other relevant policies and procedures.
• Transcribe prescriptions and prepare custom labels for customers.
• Handle routine duties including receiving and stocking medications.
