Job summary

North Texas Rehabilitation Institure is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join our Plano, TX team in a PRN capacity. You will assist pharmacists with drug retrieval, counting, restocking, and prescription information management in a hospital environment.

The role emphasizes accuracy, confidentiality, and collaboration with care teams, with preferred certification (PTCB) and state registration. Hospital experience is a plus, and the position is on-site in Plano.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent unless registered by State Board of Pharmacy.
• Current state certification and registration with the Board of Pharmacy preferred.
• Hospital experience preferred.
• National certification (PTCB) preferred.
• Knowledge of clinical operations and procedures.
• General computer skills including data entry, word processing, email, and record management.
• Effective organizational and time management skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Ability to work closely and professionally with others.
• Ability to maintain quality, safety, and infection control standards.
• Ability to interact with patients and families across ages.
