Responsibilities include:

1. In accordance with state and federal regulations, assist the pharmacist, under direct supervision, in the practice of pharmacy. Assist in other Pharmacy Department duties per company policies.
2. Use pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information, process prescriptions, and, if PTCB certified, assist and coach other pharmacy technicians and cashiers.
3. Model and deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience.

Customer Experience

• Engage customers and patients, greet them, offer assistance, resolve issues, and answer questions to ensure a positive experience.
• Share customer service best practices and develop strong relationships with valuable customers.

Operations

• Assist in pharmacy practice under supervision, ensure compliance with pharmacy codes and policies, and perform duties such as entering information, filling prescriptions, verifying medicines, and checking for interactions.
• Report prescription errors immediately, adhere to Good Faith Dispensing policies, handle sales and cash register duties, and support inventory management.
• Assist in clinical services, maintain good relationships with healthcare providers, and ensure the pharmacy environment is clean, stocked, and orderly.

Training & Personal Development

• Earn and maintain PTCB certification, attend training, and stay updated on healthcare and pharmacy developments.

Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico). Willing to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
