Responsibilities

1. Assist the pharmacist, under direct supervision, in the practice of pharmacy, in accordance with state and federal regulations, and company policies.
2. Use pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information, process prescriptions, and assist in pharmacy operations if PTCB certified.
3. Deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience by engaging customers and resolving issues.
4. Develop strong relationships with valuable customers.
5. Support pharmacy operations including data entry, prescription filling, verification, and inventory management under supervision.
6. Report prescription errors immediately and adhere to quality and safety policies.
7. Handle cash register operations and assist customers in locating products.
8. Process third-party claims and perform clerical duties as assigned.
9. Support clinical services and coordinate with healthcare providers as needed.
10. Maintain the pharmacy environment, ensuring it is stocked, clean, and orderly.
11. Comply with all policies and maintain respectful relationships with coworkers.
12. Complete special assignments and additional tasks as assigned.

Training & Personal Development

1. Earn and maintain PTCB certification through the designated training program or state certification requirements.
2. Attend training sessions and acquire continuing education credits to stay updated in healthcare and pharmacy developments.

Additional requirements include fluency in English (except in Puerto Rico) and willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
