Responsibilities:

1. Assist the pharmacist, under direct supervision, in the practice of pharmacy, in accordance with state and federal regulations. Assist the pharmacist in other Pharmacy Department duties per company policies.
2. Use pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information and process prescriptions. If PTCB certified, assist and coach other pharmacy technicians and cashiers.
3. Model and deliver a distinctive customer experience.

Customer Experience:

• Engage customers and patients, greet them, and offer assistance. Resolve issues and answer questions to ensure a positive experience.
• Share customer service best practices and develop strong relationships with valuable customers.

Operations:

• Assist in pharmacy practices under supervision, including entering information, filling prescriptions, verifying medicines, and checking for interactions.
• Report prescription errors immediately and adhere to quality policies.
• Handle sales transactions, assist customers in locating products, and process third-party claims efficiently.
• Support inventory management and clinical services, including sample collection and coordination with healthcare providers.
• Maintain a clean and organized pharmacy environment and foster respectful relationships with coworkers.

Training & Personal Development:

• Earn and maintain PTCB certification through the designated training program and/or state certification. Certification may be a condition for promotion.
• Attend training and acquire continuing education credits to stay updated on healthcare and pharmacy developments.

Additional requirements include being fluent in English (except in Puerto Rico), and willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
