Responsibilities

1. Assist the pharmacist, under direct supervision, in the practice of pharmacy, in accordance with state and federal regulations and company policies.
2. Use pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information, process prescriptions, and assist with pharmacy operations, including coaching other technicians if certified.
3. Deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience by engaging customers, resolving issues, and building strong relationships.

Customer Experience

• Greet customers and offer assistance, ensuring a positive experience.
• Share customer service best practices with team members.
• Develop strong relationships with valuable customers.

Operations

• Assist in pharmacy duties under supervision, including data entry, prescription filling, and verification.
• Report prescription errors immediately and adhere to policies regarding dispensing and quality assurance.
• Handle cash register operations and assist customers with OTC products.
• Process third-party claims efficiently and support inventory management activities.
• Support clinical services, including sample collection and coordination with healthcare providers.
• Maintain the pharmacy environment, ensuring it is stocked, clean, and orderly.

Training & Personal Development

• Earn and maintain PTCB certification through the designated training program and/or state certification.
• Attend training sessions and acquire continuing education credits to stay updated in healthcare and pharmacy developments.

Additional requirements include fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico), and willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
