Responsibilities include:

1. Assisting the pharmacist, under direct supervision, in the practice of pharmacy in accordance with state and federal regulations and company policies.
2. Using pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information and process prescriptions. Assisting with and coaching other pharmacy technicians and cashiers as applicable.
3. Delivering a distinctive and delightful customer experience by engaging customers, resolving issues, and building strong relationships.
4. Supporting pharmacy operations, including entering patient and drug data, filling prescriptions, verifying medication accuracy, and maintaining workflow.
5. Reporting prescription errors immediately and adhering to policies regarding dispensing and quality improvement.
6. Handling sales transactions, assisting customers in locating products, and processing third-party claims efficiently.
7. Supporting inventory management and clinical services, including sample collection and coordination with healthcare providers.
8. Maintaining a clean, organized pharmacy environment and complying with all policies and procedures.
9. Participating in training and continuing education to maintain PTCB certification and stay updated on healthcare developments.
10. Working flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, and being fluent in English (except in Puerto Rico).
