Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support the pharmacy team in delivering safe and accurate prescriptions and exceptional customer service in our retail locations.

As a Technician, you will assist with workflow, inventory, and patient interactions, while meeting state board licensure requirements and undergoing company training. Periodic travel within the market may be required.

Qualifications

• Must comply with state board requirements for pharmacy practice, licensure and education.
• If state board has no minimum age, must be at least 16 years old.
• State-level licensure and national certification vary by state.

Responsibilities

• Support pharmacy team to ensure safe, accurate prescription fulfillment and customer service.
• Follow pharmacy workflow procedures at each workstation for safe operations.
• Provide compassionate care and help address patient questions both in person and over the phone.
• Complete inventory activities and assist in handling deliveries and stock.
• Travel between stores in the market to cover shifts as needed.
