Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support the pharmacy team in delivering safe, accurate prescriptions and empathetic, patient-centered service in our retail stores. You will complete required training, comply with state and federal regulations, and may assist with immunizations where permitted.

The role requires regular attendance, strong communication, and a collaborative approach to meet patient needs.

Qualifications

Must comply with state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy.
State-level licensure and national certification requirements vary by state.

Responsibilities

Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
Complete required training within designated timeframe.
Attention and Focus: concentrate on a task and pivot as needed.
Customer Service and Team Orientation: help people and be friendly.
Communication Skills: speak and write clearly with patients and colleagues.
Mathematical Reasoning: calculate quantities, days supply and packaging.
Problem Resolution: address patient or colleague issues effectively.
Physical Demands: be mobile, lift up to 20 lbs, and perform related tasks.
Follow all applicable laws, regulations, CVS policies to ensure patient safety and privacy.
Deliver additional health services when allowed, such as immunizations.
