Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join our store team. You will support pharmacists in ensuring safe, accurate prescription fulfillment and exceptional patient service while following SOPs and regulatory requirements.

Role may include assisting with immunizations and clinic services where permitted and trained. The position requires state licensure or certification where applicable, adherence to training timelines, and willingness to travel across the market if needed.

Qualifications

• Must comply with state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy.
• State-level licensure and national certification requirements vary by state.
• If the state board does not address a minimum age, candidate must be at least 16.
• If the state board does not address a minimum educational requirement, candidate must have a high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including weekends.
• Complete required training within designated timeframe.
• Verify prescription information and labeling for accuracy to ensure patient safety.
• Follow pharmacy workflow procedures at each workstation for safe prescription fulfillment.
• Support immunizations and other services as allowed by law and training.
• Assist in inventory activities and maintain compliance with SOPs.
