Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacy teams in delivering safe and efficient prescription services across stores in the market. You will assist pharmacists, handle customer interactions, and help maintain accurate records and inventory while upholding patient privacy and safety.

The role requires compliance with state board rules, basic math and communication skills, and a willingness to travel as needed. Eligible for immunization support where permitted by law.

Qualifications

• Requires adherence to state board of pharmacy rules and law.
• High school diploma or equivalent; actively enrolled in high school allowed where applicable.
• State-level licensure and national certification requirements vary by state.

Responsibilities

• Attend to customers and patients with empathy and care.
• Support pharmacy team to ensure safe, accurate prescription fulfillment.
• Follow SOPs and pharmacy workflow at each workstation.
• Assist with inventory activities and returns-to-stocks as directed.
• Support immunization services where allowed and trained.
• Travel to stores in the market to cover shifts as needed.
• Maintain compliance with laws and CVS policies to protect patient privacy and safety.
