Responsibilities

• Prepares drug orders from Physicians for review and dispensing by a Registered Pharmacist.
• Replenishes all Pyxis machines. Monitors and records refrigerator temperatures when filling, and documents corrective action taken if needed.
• Counts, compounds and repackages pharmaceuticals using established procedures.
• Medication dispensing and distribution to patient areas, Reorder and Restock of pharmacy inventory, Restock inventory in department and nursing units and restocks returns.
• Performs light housekeeping duties such as arranging bins and stock neatly, removing items from bulk storage, dusting shelves.
