Job summary

MetroHealth Medical Center in Ohio is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support the specialty and inpatient pharmacies under a Pharmacist's supervision. This role includes assisting with medication delivery and related services to in-house patients and take-home medications.

You will help with quality control procedures for drug distribution, and you will uphold the MetroHealth System's mission, vision, and customer service standards in a diverse healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or passage of a high school equivalency exam.
• 18 years of age or older with no felony convictions, per Ohio Revised Code 4729.42.
• Current/active PTCB or ExCPT certification; maintains certification.
• Registered or soon-to-be-registered with the Ohio State Board of Pharmacy; maintains active status.
• Ability to interact effectively with diverse backgrounds.

Responsibilities

• Under the supervision of a Pharmacist, supports specialty and inpatient pharmacies.
• Delivers medication related services to in-house patients and take-home meds.
• Assists Pharmacists with quality control procedures for drug distribution technologies.
• Upholds MetroHealth System mission, vision, and customer service standards.
