Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Working toward licensed technician certification through a certified national program required.
• Previous experience as a pharmacy clerk preferred.
• Vaccination certification required if administering vaccines, as required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, friendly customer service in person and over the phone.
• Assist pharmacists in preparing prescription drug products for dispensing.
• Handle prescription processing and insurance billing.
• Gather and maintain accurate patient information for prescriptions.
• Order, check in, and stock pharmacy supplies; log invoices.
