Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support the in-store pharmacy team in delivering safe, accurate prescription fulfillment and excellent patient service. The role involves working across the workflow from production to drive-thru, following SOPs, and supporting immunization services when qualified.

Responsibilities include inventory tasks, regulatory compliance, and contributing to a caring, inclusive store culture.

Qualifications

• Must comply with state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy, including licensure/certification.
• If the state board does not address a minimum age, must be at least 16 years old.
• If no minimum education is mandated, must have a high school diploma or equivalent or be actively enrolled.

Responsibilities

• Follow SOPs at each workstation to help Pharmacists manage and improve patient health.
• Follow pharmacy workflow procedures for safe and accurate prescription fulfillment.
• Deliver empathetic customer service: assist patients at pick-up, drive-thru, and by phone; support immunizations and other services as allowed.
• Complete basic inventory activities and cycle counts; assist with stock management.
• Be flexible with scheduling and travel to stores in the market as needed.
• Comply with federal/state/local laws and CVS policies to ensure patient safety and privacy.
• Deliver additional health care services (e.g., immunizations) when trained and permitted.
