CVS Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support the pharmacy team in delivering safe, accurate, and compassionate patient care in our retail stores.

You will assist pharmacists with prescription fulfillment, immunizations, and customer service while adhering to SOPs and regulatory requirements. This role emphasizes accuracy, empathy, and collaborative teamwork in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Must comply with state board of pharmacy requirements including age, education, and licensure/certification.
• High school diploma or equivalent, or actively enrolled in HS or equivalency program.
• State-level licensure and national certification requirements vary by state.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to safe and effective operations of the pharmacy; follow SOPs at each workstation.
• Assist pharmacists with prescription fulfillment, immunizations, and patient service steps.
• Provide compassionate patient interactions at pick-up, drive-thru, and phone; ensure accurate labeling and dosing.
• Assist with basic inventory activities, receiving deliveries, and cycle counts as directed.
• Stay flexible for scheduling across stores in the market to meet business needs.
• Comply with all laws, regulations, and CVS policies to protect patient privacy and safety.
