Job summary

CVS Health is hiring for a Pharmacy Technician to support the pharmacy team in delivering safe and compassionate patient care. You will help with prescription fulfillment, immunizations where allowed, and customer interactions at the register and drive-thru.

You will follow SOPs, maintain accurate records, and assist with inventory while upholding state regulations and CVS policies. This role requires reliability, empathy, and teamwork in a fast-paced retail setting.

Qualifications

• Must comply with state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing practice.
• If state board has no minimum age, candidate must be at least 16 years old.
• If no minimum educational requirement, must have a high school diploma or be enrolled in high school or equivalency program.
• State licensure and national certification requirements vary by state.

Responsibilities

• Attend regularly, including weekends.
• Complete required training within designated timeframe.
• Assist pharmacists to manage patient health and ensure safe, accurate prescription fulfillment.
• Provide empathetic, high-quality customer service to patients and colleagues.
• Follow all SOPs and pharmacy workflow procedures at each workstation.
• Assist with basic inventory tasks and restocking as directed by leadership.
• Be flexible and willing to travel to other stores in the market as needed.
