Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacy teams in delivering safe, accurate prescription fulfillment and exceptional patient service in-store. You will follow SOPs, maintain compliance, and contribute to a compassionate, patient-centered experience.

Responsibilities include assisting with immunizations, participating in ongoing training, and traveling to stores in the market as needed to meet business needs. A strong focus on accuracy, safety, and teamwork is essential.

Qualifications

• Must comply with state board of pharmacy requirements, age, education, and licensure/certification
• If no minimum age is mandated, candidate must be at least 16 years old
• If no minimum education is mandated, candidate must have a high school diploma or equivalent or be actively enrolled in high school or GED program
• State-level licensure and national certification requirements vary by state

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including weekends
• Complete required training within designated timeframe
• Attention and Focus: concentrate on tasks, pivot quickly between tasks, ensure prescription labeling accuracy
• Customer Service and Team Orientation: assist patients with empathy and care
• Communication Skills: use verbal and written communication with patients and colleagues
• Mathematical Reasoning: calculate quantities, days supply, and bottle counts for prescriptions
• Problem Resolution: handle patient or colleague interactions and choose best course of action
• Physical Demands: be mobile, lift and move items, and maintain good vision
• Any additional tasks as directed by Supervisor or Manager
