Job summary

Sibley Memorial Hospital, a member of Johns Hopkins Medicine, is seeking a Pharmacy Technician II to assist in preparing and packaging medications, distribute and deliver medications, and support inventory control.

This full-time role features a rotating schedule including weekends and holidays, with a salary range of $22.89 to $37.76 per hour and comprehensive benefits. The hospital is part of Johns Hopkins Health System, a non-profit community-focused care provider.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent required.
• Completion of an ASHP/ACPE accredited pharmacy technician training program preferred.
• 0 to 2 years of pharmacy technician experience.
• PHRMTECH-R - Registered Pharmacy Technician required.
• PHAR-C - Certified Pharmacy Tech (CPhT) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and packaging of medications.
• Distribute and deliver medications to patients.
• Maintain inventory levels and keep appropriate records and documentation.

Education

HS Diploma or GED

ASHP/ACPE training preferred

0–2 years pharmacy technician experience

Job Summary:

The Pharmacy Technician II is responsible for a variety of duties assisting in the preparation and packaging of medications, distribution and delivery of medications, supporting the maintenance of property inventory levels, and keeping appropriate records and documentation.

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent required.
• Completion of an ASHP/ACPE accredited pharmacy technician training program preferred.
• 0 to 2 years of pharmacy technician experience.
• PHRMTECH-R - Registered Pharmacy Technician required.

Shift:

Full-Time (40 hours per week), Rotating schedule that includes weekends & holiday work.

Salary Range:

Minimum $22.89/hour - Maximum $37.76/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
