Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and completion of an accredited pharmacy technician-training program or acceptance into pharmacy school.
• High school diploma or equivalent and one year of pharmacy or health care related experience.
• Must be registered with the North Carolina Board of Pharmacy within the first 180 days.
• Pharmacy Technician certification is required from PTCB or ExCPT.

Responsabilités

• Process prescriptions and prepare medications following department procedures.
• Restock cabinets and anesthesia workstations as needed.
• Answer calls and route to appropriate staff; handle medication records and outdated items.
• Collaborate with pharmacy team, insurers, and customers to resolve issues.
• Assist clinical pharmacists with patient interviews and safety initiatives.
